If it's rubbery then it hasn't been prepared or cooked properly.

My octopus wasn't at all rubbery and I was braced for the worst after the dried out stuff I had in LHR lounge earlier this week.

I realised that I actually quite liked the sweet taste and soft texture of calamari in batter until my wife told me it was an onion ring.

I’m imagining BA offering octopus in the LHR lounges and the response that would ensue! 😁😂

I love baby octopus. In Naples they prepare them stewed for hours in a tomato sauce olives and capers and on pasta or simply some crostini bread it is to die for.

i have said this but generally I have found great food at Naples lounge: Baked pasta and/or pasta prepared with great tasty sauces and cooked at al dente, fresh Bufalo mozzarella (that taste nothing like the one in UK supermarket), great Parma ham and other cured meats, focaccia and other bread and to finish it off, small Neapolitan pastries from Bellavia, a very good City pastry shop with an outlet in the airport.

the picture is not great but these farfalle with a meaty ragù sauce with aubergine and a focaccia side was really good

This looks better than my average meal in long haul First, although I do prefer the William Edwards plates.

That should be easy to accomplish, on your next trip to Peru or the Far East.

TravelBuzz is the adequate forum. Zero relevance to BA whatsoever and has no place on this board.

Which would make my cats the tastiest morsels on the planet. But I'd like to see anyone dare...
