In my mind the AA and QR ones are so much worse.

I hope they book Kate Winslet to demonstrate the whistle on the life jacket.

Flew on Air New Zealand quite a long time ago and experienced this one which is possibly my favourite (helps if you like Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit of course). They've done a few good ones.

Just as this was posted, I flew LHR-DUB this past Sunday on an A319 and they played the safety video.

I would possibly pay them money in order to achieve this.

Friend of mine who flies a lot has always said BA should just have an incredibly posh man doing the safety video in a very matter-of-fact way. Think Harold Macmillan pointing out the exits. And that, actually, people would a) listen to it b) it wouldn't be distracting c) you could make it a lot shorter if you cut out the 'jokes' - and d) it's sort of an enjoyable stereotype, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

It seems each time I’m able to put that VX safety video out of my mind, it makes a reappearance on FT somewhere!

I kind of felt sorry for the FAs who had to listen to it, possibly multiple times a day.

Other than that, I did enjoy flying VX when they were around.
