LHR Arrival in First - Concorde Room?
Hi there,
I depart EWR tomorrow at 9.35pm in F and arrive in LHR around 9am the day after. My onward flight to GLA (in CE) is at 2.30pm.
Will I be able to access the Concorde Room since I will have arrived on a First Class ticket?
Thanks!

Yes under Oneworld rules you're eligible to access the Condorde Room when you're a same-day inbound arrival in First. Just make sure you hold on to your EWRLHR First Boarding Pass from your previous flight incase of any further eligibility query.

Indeed, with that amount of time you could also consider going to the Concorde breakfast room in the arrivals lounge, followed by an infinity bath before using the First wing to re-clear security and then walk through to the CCR.

Starting from the JFK room, one could say it's the Tour de Concorde.

And I think you have to be flying BA Inbound First (ticketed or operated). I don't think you get CCR access if Inbound first on a AA/QR ticket & metal, connecting onto a BA short haul out of Terminal 5. That said, it's a manual check, so mileage may vary.
However, what you say to the OP is correct in this instance. They will be allowed in just fine.

i think thats unfair. It was exactly my thought when I saw the question and the initial responses so I am glad someone took the time to post it. Someone adding a bit of detail to fully flesh out the answer is useful both for the OP and anyone coming across this thread in the future.
Personally I am very appreciative of people who take time to help and post on FT.

@1Aturnlef and @Tobias-UK answered the OP's simple question accurately and succinctly. I'm not sure how helpful it is to parse those responses, before agreeing with them.
My contribution aimed to nip in the bud further attempts at disambiguation of the complexities of CCR access: it's a focus of debate in a number of threads: some very recent and not all in the BAEC forum.

That's something of a strawman

I don't feel I was muddying the response at all. The end result was correct, but the reasoning behind it (CCR being a OneWorld benefit) wasn't quite correct. While that subtle distinction made no difference to the OP, it could make a difference to anyone else reading this thread arriving in First on another OW carrier.

As a point of information- has the CCR now reverted to its previous entry requirements such that passengers arriving on non-BA F, eg AA F, but connecting from T5 are no longer allowed access?

I was thinking about this too, and my guess would be they have reverted back to previous rules where AA F inbound would only get you access to the GF. I am not sure though so I will try and ask next time I am in.
