380 F Service

Just choosing seats for a 380F trip, a first on this aircraft: I note the galley is at the back. Is service back to front, or front to back?
Thanks.

I find that it varies - seems to just depend on what the crew decide to do on the day (which Im sure wont be standard procedure). Ive had all sorts of variations - front to back , back to front , random all over the cabin based on status , down the left side first from front to back then right hand cabin back to front.

It can depend on who is eating when, sometimes.

I guess so for the OP, and it's not an unreasonable enquiry. Of course it may not matter to you, but them it would be very boring if we were all the same

I have always found service to be front to back.

My travelling friend is experiencing his first F and I really want him to have a good experience (and I guess so do I!), and not having ones preferred choice of food is bad enough in Y

Thanks everyone for your replies - and as I havent flown F since pre-pandemic I had forgotten that F is all about ordering not serving😁

The crew SHOULD prioritise meal choices using status, the menu available from the 1st August should be a lot more appealing.

Slightly OT; is the 1 Aug menu going to be served inbound to LHR as well as outbound?

I haven’t seen anything to confirm but I’m guessing yes.
