Wine list in First BOS - LHR

I'm sorry a very trivial question that I can't resolve in a search.

Last week we travelled BOS - LHR in First. The South African White was (in our opinion) really special. I intended to take a note but must have drank too much and fell asleep!
I would love to buy a couple of bottles and hope it tastes as good at sea level.
Thanks in advance.

Was it a Riesling? I had an excellent SA Riesling on the way back from JFK last week.

It was Paul Culver Estate, 2017 I think.

I would not get my hopes up...............Wine on planes tastes very different from wine on the ground.
Even, in the old days, BA's puligny montrachet suffered in the air, but was nectar on the ground...........

Just scary that they consider Dog Point to be a First Class wine.

Better than last year's offer! Cheap Villa Maria that even Tesco were charging £6 for at one stage.

I had the Paul Cluver Riesling a few months back in the GF lounge and thought it was tremendous. By chance I went past the winery the next day and went in hoping to buy more. According to the very helpful lady there, they stopped making that style of riesling very shortly after 2017 and that they had no stocks remaining. I tasted their current rieslings (which I'm guessing are similar to the one in Waitrose) and they are a totally different style - much lighter with none of the diesel character that the 2017 had. I was back in the GF lounge a couple of weeks later and tried to get another glass from the bar. They went and looked to see if the had any in the room that they bring the wines out from, but nothing.

The local Waitrose was out of stock, I will get half a dozen on line albeit 2020, drink one at the weekend and put 5 down for a couple of years as I am told that is correct for a Reisling.
I will repost in 2025 !
