Anyone having problems combining avios to Iberia?

Anyone having problems combining avios to Iberia?

Hello y’all, new here. I am having trouble combining my avios from BA to IB. I created my IB plus account on January 2022 and made sure my information is correct. I do have some points in my IB plus account from yesterday (did a survey and gain 100 avios points). I am also having problems transferring my MR and UR into my IB plus for testing purposes. My IB account number has 7 digits on the website but it also have 14 digits in my email they have sent. “0000000#######”

transferring MR to BA is no problem.


Is the website down on British airway under “combine my avios”?

I can’t post any screenshots because my account is still new!

I had the same problem and after 3 days of 😡🤬🤬🤬 I called BA and the operator was able to transfer from IB to BA in 5 seconds. But I was told he had no idea why I was not able to do the same online. As far as he was concerned everything was alright and should have been working …even from the website.

I called the BA Gold number here in Italy.
You should find easily BA number in their US website.

Did you try the long 14 digit number for Iberia Plus? There is definitely a current “feature” where since that migration a few months back some systems now expect the long number with leading zeros…

so I tried my 14 digital number for IB plus on Chase UR transfer, still nothing. The button to confirm gets grayed out and turns green again with no confirmation or gonna through.

when I input my 14 digital number for IB from Amex UR I get this message all the time,

Edit: I’ve made an account on Avios [dot] com an input my BA account info in an it says “combining was unsuccessful”. So I input my 14 digit IB plus account in, it worked and brought me to the combine my avios. I didn’t combine any avios because I still want to combine my BA to IB.

I have successfully moved Avios from Iberia to BA several times in the last few months, and my IB account has only eight digits, not 14.

So one can do it over the phone? I'm sick to the back teeth of trying to move IB to BA. I suspect that it is deliberately made difficult to discourage one.

I've never been able to move my IB Avios to BA Avios. Was told since I have a household BA Executive Club account, can't do it unless I break up the household, so ended up letting my IB Avios expire.

I'm convinced it's BA's issue on their end for this recent bit. Have tried pushing from IB and avios.com as well as pulling from BA. Same error over past week or so. Have had success in the past.

all I want is to transfer my Chase UR to BA 30% bonus then combine it into IB for award space in November…
