I’m with BOH on this one. You have to giggle at all the little (and big) things that BA and their suppliers keep getting wrong. Otherwise you would cry.

It can be boring to fly with airlines who actually load all menu items ……. life aboard BA is way more exciting 😊

On the positive side, I’d say things are looking up. We all remember the signature BOB ‘Afternoon Tea Special’ (the special part being that tea was not included) but at least this time the OP reports both tea and cream as readily available …….. which, one might say, meets the strict definition of Cream Tea. Pity about those missing scones ….. but then again you can’t have everything !

Maybe it doesn’t come across that well, but “you just have to laugh” is generally used in situations where you’re acknowledging that things are so beyond rubbish that it’s now comical.

They were just trying to avoid the usual fisticuffs breaking out among passengers over jam-first versus cream-first.

Aaaaahhhhhhh…a huge sigh of relief and relaxation when you soon realise life is back to normal because a thread appears about scones on a plain

Bliss! Thanks.

Cream or Jam first? That’s the question

Well on my flight to Pisa I had the scones and I had the jam but the cream was not loaded.
so looks like a lottery at the moment.

If you're daft enough to put the two halves together before you have a bite it doesn't really matter...a messy disaster awaits!!

I always put the jam on first then the cream which seems sensible to me.

I’m flying BA in November for the first time…WTP Boston to London. Will I get a cream tea or too low on the status? Thanks.

You will get a half sandwich as a second meal. You can call it afternoon tea, BA will probably approve

Perhaps BA should take a leaf out of HM and Paddington bear's book; and keep a marmalade sandwich on hand for emergencies.
