buying avios urgent help required for a flight today

buying avios urgent help required for a flight today

hey folks
in the past i've tried to buy avios many times ,

and today is one of those days as i'm planning a trip later on today and i need to top up my account

for some reason every time i go into the purchasing avios link i get an error and i just cant go into the site

any help or suggestions please?

What is the error you're seeing? Have you tried a different browser, cleared cache / cookies? Do you have plug ins that prevent scripts from running?

They did add a second login to Avios after the replatforming changes. So I did login to BA / My Executive Club / View Statement / Purchase Avios / login / Buy Avios view more and I can enter all my details and credit card data right up to the point where I think I would be committed to the transaction. It would be daft for me to buy Avios so that's as far as I can sensibly go.

I hesitate to suggest this since it's very complex, with multiple potential points of failure, but you could buy via Iberia if you have a working account and then transfer from IB to BA.

When buying Avios they do not always post immediately. I had to wait three days during the 100% bonus offer. So proceed with caution!

i did this exact thing now and still get an error

though the IB option sounds good thanks will try that

maybe i dont have the plug ins
which are they, maybe ill install them now
