BA tier points on flight operated by Emerald Airlines for Aer Lingus

Would you get tier points by crediting this flight to a BA Exec Club account? What about status-earning credit for crediting it to other oneworld programs?

You dont earn tier points flying Aer Lingus and you wont earn tier points by flying their franchisee Emerald Airlines. Aer Lingus and Emerald Airlines are not members of OW and so earning with other Oneworld members would be subject to ant partner agreements these airlines might have with a specific airline. Youll need to look at each particular airline to see.

Edited to add: AS noted by jbee, you can earn TPs on Aer Lingus when flying on a BA codeshare. You may want to check this forum as the codeshares are usually pricier than the comparable EI marketed fare. Your example wasnt a BA codeshare, so no TPs.

Hi, booked on the BA code this should get TP/Avios. O class would get 5 points e/w + 125 avios depending on BAEC status. Not sure if you'd get anything on other OW operators, guess it depends if they codeshare?
You can use the BA Avios Calculator for this on their website. Good luck!

Will you earn tier points flying on an AA codeshare operated by Aer Lingus? e.g. AA coded DUB-LHR-XXX

no. You get TPs for a flight coded as OW if it is operated by OW; you get TPs for a flight coded as BA operated by anyone. Exception is QF operated by EK which earns too. Lots of threads on those questions for any detail.

Can someone clarify, why is this example not a BA codeshare if it has a BA flight number?
I'm looking at an itinerary with an Aer Lingus flight with a BA number, but will look for alternatives if I'm not receiving tier points for it.

Thanks

If you book it under that BA flight number you will earn avios and TPs when crediting to BAEC.
