BA first lounge T5

Hi, can anyone confirm whether the BA lounges are back to being self service or do we still order from the seat via the app these days ??
cheers

I could not find the self service fizz yesterday - so still
had to order that via the app. The refectory food options are much smaller now too, and the portions for the app ordered stuff were tiny.

But, that being said, it was very nice to see it up and running well - had been a bit miserable in my visits since Oct last year

Self-pour champagne is available at the Gold Bar, to the right as you emerge from the First Wing.

First at LHR is both self-serve and QR-based table service.

The QR menu for breakfast now only has 2 food items left, the rest is self-serve. They also moved the buffet to the back. T5B lounge was much quieter, but they don't offer anything on the QR menu anymore even though they are still on every table.
I much preferred the table service, shame it's slowly disappearing again.

I much preferred the help-yourself model, but when there were many worthwhile choices.

And when I'm there next month for breakfast, I'll be looking to make up some semblance of an English breakfast, with the odd glass of self-pour champagne (from the Gold Bar, wherever that might be).

Yesterday it was a hybrid. Self service or buffet.

The buffet has now been moved down to the far end of the table dining area whereas for the last few weeks it had been at the entrance to that area.

Last week I enjoyed the steak and ale pie. I have now located what I believe to be the sparkling water dispenser, however I haven't yet managed to get out any sparkling water....cue abuse

Can anyone advise whether this is still the case, or if it's been further enhanced?

that’s just absurd – I’ve never managed to get to Heathrow in time for breakfast but toast and Marmite was a part of my staple travelling diet from Gatwick.
