Yes am due 30k avios for my already double to earning trip so this would be very nice.

I wonder how the IT department feel about this...........

With nearly 1m Avios in the HHA, I need more Avios like a spare nostril. What might appeal is reliable flights and Reward availability.

About to abandon the BA Amex PP card, as there’s no point in collecting yet more Avios we can’t use.

I had a look and it makes little sense. You can get up to 10 double Avios flights but have to book them all by the end of April. I don’t think so.

I'd like an offer that says if you book any flight by 30 April, it will actually operate and be reasonably on time.

On a more serious note, I am puzzled as to why they would do a double Avios offer now when BA are cancelling flights on the basis they can't cope with existing passenger demand.

This was in the HfP newsletter this morning where they said it wasn't yet live.

Not fussed about extra Avios, I just wish they'd get the double TP offer working properly so that could be a decent booking incentive that they can bring out periodically. That would get me booking more flights.

Is good weather a key factor in your choice of destination, Uncle T ….. ? Or would a luxury boutique hotel in (say) the Scottish Highlands / Islands appeal …… perhaps in an area offering attractive walks …. ?

I sense that staycations will be a big thing (again) this coming summer.
