Nothing non-stop, I'm afraid. (BA are still selling tickets on their services, but at GBP750, which I'm guessing is full Y.)

AF/KL have multiple connections via CDG and AMS. You should decide what your own delay risk tolerance is on separate tickets, but

dep LHR 09:00 (AF1681) arr CDG 11:25
dep CDG 12:20 (AF7710) arr NCE 13:50

is currently quoted at EUR218, and is probably the earliest arrival with a reasonable fare.
(AF7704 departs CDG at 13:55 is you want a lower-stress connection in Paris).

Trying to think outside the box, Eurostar have a departure from St. Pancras at 10:22, which gets to Marseille at 18:11 (with an hour layover in Paris)... but that train then takes a further 3 hours puttering along the coast until it reaches Nice at 21:07. So, probably too much sitting around the day after a TATL flight, and (at GBP230 eco / GBP 400 business) not cheap either. But maybe a plan B if flights become impossible.

Nipping round to Gatwick on the National Express and taking Easyjet will probably be easiest but I wouldn't pull the trigger yet they may put some flights on sale if they've sorted the cancellations

If I were the OP I'd travel via another country, use a rocket, do whatever but not the M25. Went to see a client yesterday and ended up 3.5 hours stuck there due to an accident.

BTW, it seems that EZY is having trouble too, the BBC had news about lots of cancellations due to staff shortages.

AMS - one cancellation 5th
BRU - all scheduled
CDG - one cancellation 5th
FRA - all scheduled
MAD - one cancellation 5th

All coded OPER for now. I'll keep an eye on these routes during the week, my guess would be that predictions are being made based on staff absences and loads the day before and they're trying to take the pressure off by consolidating high-frequency routes.
Additionally it seems that many routes (EDI, GLA, AMS at least) are zeroed apart from full Y and J until and including 17th April. This does not appear to affect LGW or LCY flights from the same destinations. I don't *think* this is normal, but am happy to be corrected.
My London to Brussels flight tomorrow morning 6th April BA392 has been cancelled. Hoping my return that evening won't be cancelled too, otherwise will miss my connection

Looks like a number of morning S/H cancellations for tomorrow. I can see
BA948 MUC
BA902 FRA
BA990 BER
BA590 MXP
BA416 LUX
BA392 BRU
(all before 8.15am)
BA1394 MAN 14.00
BA566 MXP 15.00
BA910 FRA 15.10

There doesn't seem to be anything cancelled (yet) from Thursday onwards so I guess it's being done the day before based on anticipated staffing levels etc - anybody know if these flights have just been cancelled today rather than earlier?

Am I correct in with the only alternative flight offered on BA got into Brussels 8 hours later, I'm entitled to compensation under EU261?
(BA haven't offered to book me on another airline/Eurostar etc.)

Update 1245 BST 5th April in bold. Cancellation times are guesses based on the time shown in the flight status update, if a kind soul with access to better information would check one that would be of interest. Clearly a round of cancellations was made at 4am (probably CET, guessing again - FlightStats now seems to charge for timestamped flight status history, which is disappointing). I'm flying this weekend so will keep following to see if a pattern emerges.

I'm not including flights which appear on BA.com as cancelled but do not appear at all in EF. My guess is that these were cancelled some time ago.

So not a cancellation as such but BA are clearly predicting check-in chaos at the weekend. Have just been offered complimentary AirPortr for a flight on Friday 8 April - a special offer for flights departing 8-10 April for addresses in London and parts of Surrey. Seeing as we were already considering AirPortr it was too good to turn down!

Thanks, I was looking at that AF flight but it's four hours and gets me into NCE at 1:50pm. I need to be there before 1pm latest.

I saw a Ryanair flight from Stansted, since I land at LHR at 630AM and the Ryanair flight is at 915AM I was thinking of taking a taxi from LHR to STN and doing that flight .. or am I wishful thinking? (LHR to STN seems to be 1.5hrs)

Otherwise there is an avios reward on Wednesday the 13th in the AM, I could spend the night in London and depart from Gatwick the next morning but that's just so much travelling.

All I'm asking is BA reopens reasonable booking prices and classes for the 8 and 11 am flights out of LHR to NCE, is this wishful thinking they'd do this this week?

But what happens with Airportr bags if there is a last minute flight cancellation on the day and a late rebook to a consolidated flight. Surely one can't count on Airportr to be handing that sort of issue for multiple pax, esp if BA are overloading the Airportr service to try and make their own lives easier?

Yes I would really like to understand whether using this service increases or decreases the likelihood of a screwup with our bags...I also received the complimentary offer for our flight to the US from T5 on Saturday, so made a booking for Friday evening pickup which can be cancelled 24 hours before - would be great to get more feedback from anyone who has used them in the past before deciding whether to entrust our bags to them. The way things are going, we may end up deciding to do 1 bag by Airportr and 1 bag at the airport in order to maximize chances of at least one of them being loaded!
