Urgent: Rerouting - is it best to collect t bags or hope they are transferred?
Ticket transferred from
BA to Aegean. Are we better off collecting bags from belt 8 or leaving the airlines to transfer?

Big error. Huge queue for retrieving bags and were assured they would be transferred to Aegean so went without them. We are about to take off from T2 and our bags are very clearly still in T5.
Aegean scanned our bag tags in the system. Are they now responsible for getting them to us or will BA fly them out on tomorrow’s fligh?

Aegean are responsible to get them to you but it may well be the bags get sent on a BA aircraft. That will depend what works best for the 2 airlines

It will be agean.
if you arrive in tlv without bags go to the agean baggage agent ( probably an agent dealing with multiple airlines) and report them( with your contact address) . You should get a reference number and you may be able to track your luggage ( does not work all the time the tracker)
