yes. Seems like we are stuck on the ground at TLV and cannot leave until the computer says yes. No idea how long says the Captain

As posted in another thread, Just went through T5. Marshalls directing people to enter terminal via furthest North and South entrances due to overcrowding. Queue 100+ deep waiting to get into First Wing with zero movement. Mercifully I'm HBO and already checked in so was able to skip queue and get through security quickly. FIDS all down in the First Lounge. Not optimistic at all for an on-time departure.

Coincidence that people were reporting having issues logging on to ba.com earlier today? Probably... or maybe an "upgrade" hasn't gone too well.

What is the maximum flight time for pilots/cabin crew? My parents are currently sat on the aircraft at LCA. They are due to come back to LHR on BA621 but I am conscious that the crew would have been the crew on the outbound BA620.

Does this impact QR/AA/IB ops respectively at T5?

From the BA Press Office - not a global outage. Just some issues at T5....

Big Jet TV saying it's T5 only, not a global outage.

But if it is affecting BA global operations, ie the ability of planes at outstations to return to the UK (see above post about someone stuck on a plane in TLV that cannot return) then it doesn't matter if is "just some issues at T5".

If T5 is where 80% + of BA's flights start from and return to, I would say that the effect of the issue is pretty global, regradless of what rubbish BA are feeding the press?

Although if you look at Flight Radar there is virtually nothing inbound from Europe currently for BA, so planes are being held up, unless a Wednesday afternoon in March has some massive gaps in the schedule in the afternoon
