Tomorrow flight from T3. Obviously not a T5 issue!

Must have been those inexperienced leisure travellers turning up with their documents that caused it.

Not sure exactly about hours, but Captain’s discretion can be used to extend. When I flew to LCA last, the flight crew overnighted at LCA, cabin crew worked both sectors!

Flights are now departing from LHR. Indeed it looks as though long haul is being given priority.

Just been told all short haul flights originally scheduled to depart after 6pm today from LHR will be cancelled.

Another crisis unfolding in the Galleries South lounge - they've run out of tonic.

Already a worrying-looking 'delayed' message appearing on some short-hauls tomorrow evening.

There's not really a functional airline left here is there?

It’s T3 as well. I am on the BA318 (LHR-SVQ) which was due to go at 15.30 - we are still at the gate with the doors open.

This after BA cancelled my connection from JER this morning, forcing me to make my own way to LHR as they couldn’t offer me another flight today. I am generally a BA loyalist but my patience is wearing thin.

It's very annoying that the JER route is constantly treated as a domestic that often gets cancelled on the basis that there are other ways to travel, when it's nothing like a MAN or EDI where you can jump on a train if absolutely necessary. Not like the Condor ferry is a reasonable alternative.
