ID types for domestic only

Someone I am travelling with soon on domestic only doesn't have a passport or driving licence. Is any form of photo ID and name sufficient i. e. A college ID or travel pass? I'm assuming so but just checking!

Hi

on ba you will only need photo id if checking a bag ime if hbo highly unlikely to be asked for id.

I would assume ( not 100% sure) that in the absence of a passport/dl any photo id would be sufficient.

Regards

So long as you are hand baggage only, you don't need to show ID to anyone. I travelled up to Manchester over the weekend and wasn't asked once for it. But I carry something just in case.

Any photo ID with a semblance of professionalism will do. I have used my work door pass in the past.

Thanks. That's the type of answer I was hoping for.

Can you please inform LHR and ABZ check in agents! Travelled two weeks ago HBO and they said I couldn't travel without ID. I politely pointed out that the website says ID is not required but they were having none of it.

The person I am travelling with is the person that paid. They have the debit card used for payment and a photo travel pass. Surely that's more than enough?

I do the same. It's the ultimate backup rather than relying on a phone.
