BA-AY Minimum Connection Time at BUD

Hi all,
First time using ExpertFlyer to check/validate Minimum Connection Times (MCT), whilst there is a legend listed below any search result on EF, it doesn't explain all of them. Essentially I am trying to see if a 1 hour 10 minutes connection time from LHR-BUD-HEL (BA - AY) is legal/valid (of course assuming issued on single ticket/PNR). This is the result that comes up on ExpertFlyer:

Minimum Connect Times:
Connecting at BUD
Incoming airline BA
Outgoing airline AY
Flight type International to International

STANDARD.D/D...D/I...I/D...I/I.

So whilst it does say the standard is 1 hour 30 mins for International - International, it says 40 mins for terminal 2B - 2B as an exception, which, from what I understand, would mean my proposed connection is valid. But then what do the codes GLSUP, CDS etc mean? Have I totally be misinterpreting this? Sorry, still learning and trying to get round ExpertFlyer. Have tried googling but haven't had much luck.

Thanks in advance

Have you tried a dummy booking for the trip you want to make? If it's not a valid connection due to minimum times it won't be offered to you. If it's a valid connection then you should see it as an option.

Looking at ExpertFlyer I would agree with you that it looks like it ought to be a valid connection as the flights both arrive and depart from 2B. I'm not sure what GLSUP means but I've heard reference to CDS as Codeshare but I don't know whether that's right either.

Is this bookable as one ticket?

Yes I would read it as 40 mins if it's a 2B>2B connection on one ticket.

Well it doesn't appear on say Google Flights, mainly trying to see if I could book this as an award ticket or potentially a revenue ticket via a travel agent. I have spoken to 2 TAs I know, one seems to suggest they can ticket it and 55 mins is the MCT (I have no clue where they got that from) and another is saying they can't ticket it as their system shows MCT as 1.5 hours (which at least matches the "standard" MCT for International - International). So hence why I've come here to see if anyone else can decipher. I wouldn't be doing this as a self-connect under any circumstance anyway.

Essentially this is a part of a broader trip I'm planning, so it's not just me trying to be wacky and travelling to HEL via BUD for the fun of it lol!

Not on a standard Google Flights/ITA Matrix/Skyscanner search. However, it doesn't even show up with the combination of the later BUD-HEL which would have a connection time of approx 8 hours. So I just put that down to possibly neither AY or BA being able to sell this route themselves. However, of course with TAs and also as reward bookings, I know you can mix and match OW carriers, but essentially wanting to know if I can get this ticketed whilst ensuring it's MCT compliant. Of course, I could take the TA's word for it that did say it's bookable (curiously indicating MCT of only 55 mins) but I don't want to then have a situation where I turn up at the airport and the check-in systems don't allow it or something...hence the research and wish to get broader expertise from the hive here

Curiously, when searching it as a "multi-city" on BA's website (ie. splitting it as LHR - BUD and BUD - HEL in the multi-city search), it shows up with a result of LHR-BUD-LHR-HEL, with only 50 mins connection!

So on that basis, the 1 hour 10 mins should be a valid minimum connection then in this scenario?

What date, and I can book and verify in seconds? Picked some random dates and didn't get a 1H10 conx.

Thank you so much. I am grateful and puts my mind at rest. If you don't mind and to avoid bombarding the public forum with further queries, I have sent you a PM. I hope that's ok. Thanks once again
