FTV for reward flights auto-refunded

Just received this email for a flight, issue is I no longer have the credit card that I paid with when booking those tickets. How are they going to refund me?

If I call up would they refund to a bank account?

This is interesting. I FTV’d a cash booking yesterday, which had had a GUF2 applied for flight segments already flown with a single leg (LHR-NCE) in CE, J class, still open. I then received this Email this morning. I was only expecting unused taxes and fees to be refunded/vouchered but this implies something else.

To add a positive data point - booked 4x Avios RFS flights (LON-IBZ), with additional Avios paid to bring down fees, on 8 May. Requested refunds using the online form and received the "We're sorry you couldn't travel.." email 16 May. Full cash refund for the 4 tickets landed on my credit card 22 May (the Ł35 cancellation fee per ticket appears to have been waived), and the full Avios refunds went back into respective accounts in the household on the same day.
