What are BA doing well?
There's been an awful lot of heat on this forum particularly in the last week about issues with BA (and in this instance that includes services that BA has others provide to the consumer on their behalf) and whilst I'm not an apologist, there must be reasons that keep us flying BA, aside from the obvious. To counteract the numerous horror stories could we have a short reposite of positive stories or experiences people have had over the last little while to remind us why we keep coming back to BA, even if it's just for a day or two to sit on this forum. I'm sure for every bad interaction that people feel it's worth complaining about there must be good interactions as well, particularly during some particularly challenging times in the last week or so, and it's probably worth reminding ourselves and others of those positives.
Whilst not strictly related to this theme as I've not been on a BA flight since September, I always feel an immense sense of British pride when sitting in T5 and seeing dozens of the BA tails lined up, cabin crew looking resplendent and going about their business. That'll keep me coming back when I can. And that's despite not even being British.

Really? I usually feel and see a ghost of itself. What it used to be a very good airline nowadays everytime i fly i see a new 'enhancement' ( last one the elemis shaving cream has gone and its a generic one) and a penny pitching policy that is just...sad and funny. What other airlines are offering as a snack in business its a light meal with BA not to mention the rock bottom customer service experience with the awful website. As an example i had to call Iberia last week, i waited less than 30 seconds in their normal line ( not sure if they have a line for iberia gold members).

Trying to put the broken bits back together - it may be be long overdue and slow - but this is coming. Were I to be cynical I would say that short term they are doing a d*mn good job of p***ing off their clientele.

I’m sure this was well-intentioned, but it frankly feels to me a bit like an attempt at PR or, even worse, propaganda to force a thread of positive experiences to counteract what are mostly genuine complaints. Putin would be proud…

The main thing that springs to mind is their Book With Confidence policy. I think it's exception having the availablity to cancel for a voucher for any reason. It's quite frankly the only reason I'm looking at booking with BA for my next few trips.
(The infrastructure to use that voucher, not so much).
