Possibly (!) getting a little off-topic...my wife tried to persuade me to go along to a summer fete at a public school local to us a few years ago.
I declined.
When she got home I asked how it went....'had a great time, sat next to a lovely man who was recovering from knee surgery and was frustrated not to be able to get out to tend his garden as much as he would like. Had a good chat about gardening though'.
This of course was Jimmy Page.....no talk of wild times on the road or the works of Aleister Crowley.

Indelicate of me to point out that you have mentioned meeting Pucci Galore on several occasions? Or is she more infamous?

Why do people have to comment on famous people, is it to brag and like a trophy, I have never commented on all of the many famous people that I have met, nor will I?
Lets just say for example Rob Rinder and Sarah Willingham are having an affair, are these people not allowed a private life, how would you like your whereabouts publicly posted on the internet?

I imagine you were bound by some contractual obligation not to reveal what goes on, or whom you meet, as part of your employment contract?
i - as a fare paying member of the public - are not bound by any such obligations and will continue to post as I see fit.
its just a laugh and a much needed cheer-up CIHY.
Best regards to you all. BA_PAX x

Back to well-known people spotting: Bill Bailey on yesterday’s 107 to Dubai. Took a bit of messaging back to my young-adults to work out who he was.

I have empathy with CIHY on this one. Primarily because I never recognise "stars".
I took younger daughter to a soccer game one day. She spotted a famous comedian and a famous politician. "Why did you say that we won't see any famous people?".
Reply from me - "they are not famous people when they are soccer fans".
I think I might recognise Idris Elba, or Julie Christie, but that's about it.
However, I do like to read this thread!!
