They really don’t hang around after a race.
On the post-race show - "Ted's Notebook", Ted Kravitz said that he (pitlane reporter), Simon Lazenby (Sky's main F1 presenter), Karun Chandhok (former F1 driver, now pundit and commentator) were also booked on the flight - due to depart 2h20 minutes later.

... he did ask (tongue in cheek) if anyone at BA operations was watching, if they could hold the flight until he'd boarded (2min20 in, video on Sky F1 site if you search Ted's Notebook Miami)

It would appear BA's current pricing for F is even hitting the super rich !!

He disembarked on his own so unless he left them back there (!) I think he was travelling alone on this occasion.
He’s been known to do that. Seriously.

He was travelling alone, and was downgraded from First due to a defective seat. I witnessed discussion over the downgrade and alerting the team at LAX. He had booked and paid for the VIP suite service for arrival. He didn't seem fussed as he has travelled in Club many a time over the years.

Just before BA left T4 I flew DXB-LHR in F, with Cliff Richard and "entourage" in CW. We parked on a remote stand upon arrival and had to wait 15 minutes for a bus...meanwhile Sir Cliff et. al. were whisked away in a people carrier by people in high visibility jackets never to be seen again...
