Current methods to check fare/booking class availability:
Expertflyer.com $99 / year
KVS Fees vary
Travel Agent friends
If you are requesting flight load / class availability, please provide the following:
1. Actual travel date (don't say tomorrow, or similar, as that is ambiguous given the global flyertalk membership) 2. Departure and arrival airport codes 3. Flight number
Thanks Pilot. Is there a rule of thumb of amount per letter is that cabin is completely empty?
And how full % wise would you say economy is based on what you submitted?
The letters denote fare buckets (described here) and are the number of tickets being sold by the airline, rather than the number of seats available. Generally 9 = there are 9 or more tickets in this fare bucket being sold and 0 = fare bucket sold out, anything inbetween shows limited availability. The more 9's you see the quieter the flight usually is.
BTW, availability for your flight has changed since Pilot checked: F1 A0 C0 J2 R0 D2 I0 W0 P0 Y5 B5 H5 K4 M3 L3 G3 V0 S0 N0 Q0 O0 E0
