Help to check BA seat availability and BA flight loads

Current methods to check fare/booking class availability:
  • Expertflyer.com $99 / year
  • KVS Fees vary
  • Travel Agent friends
If you are requesting flight load / class availability, please provide the following:

1. Actual travel date (don't say tomorrow, or similar, as that is ambiguous given the global flyertalk membership)
2. Departure and arrival airport codes
3. Flight number

Now I understand why the BA agent saw it necessary to downgrade me to W from I when reaccommodating on BA49. Now to see if I can snag that J1!

Hi all.

i know the flight has already departed but can anyone tell me the flight load on BA 482 (LHR-BCN) on the 23/6/2022?
I’m trying to find out if there were still available seats in economy on this flight.

It is a tough call to say there were available seats for sale when the flight closed as EF removes visible fare class availability once a flight departs. What I can say is that according to the seat map EF publishes, there were 17 unused seats in Y class on that flight tonight, but that could have been due to people missing connections / people who switched to earlier flights etc. so if you are trying to use this information agst BA, I’m not sure how strong your argument would be sadly due to ‘available fare class for sale’ information they may hold.

BA123 LHR-DOH 14 July

3 of us booked on this flight and, being suspicious of strike impact, took a look at it today. Plenty of seats showing on expertflyer(my access) but flight doesn’t seem to be on sale, or Friday 15, or a few days the previous week. Can someone check if it has been zeroed out and/or advise on the likely cause.
