BA was LHR-LAX / LHR-MEX and LHR-EDI, most other flights were on AA with some on Aeromexico / Volaris / United.

Another 3 months and I'd have finally got GGL... better try for next year!

One return MEX to LHR, first time in First.
Three times up to Dallas and back from Mex.
Dallas love field to Portland via Seattle.
Heading to Chicago via Mia end of year.
So by end of 2021 I make that 14 flights.

This year saw a lot of domestic US flying with AA and AS and very little with BA. Only 7 flights with BA in total (LAX - LHR - NCL - LHR - DFW, and LHR - NCL - LHR - DFW). That said, I still managed 2795 TPs for the collection year, and will get another 460 before the end of the calendar year.

Highlight of the year was probably visiting Utqiagvik / Barrow in Alaska in July:

Arrival at Barrow airport under crystal clear blue skies.

Barrow, Alaska Directional Sign with the Will Rogers Wiley Post Memorial to the left.

Mr. and Mrs. Geordie405 under the whalebone arch with the frozen Arctic ocean behind us. This was at 9.30 pm on 2nd July and, with Utqiagvik being so far north, the sun didn't set.

No, YOU’VE got a gambling problem.
Heh heh, Beating you to it. One to LAS (via JFK) in F in Jan/Feb, and one in March/April in CW (via LAX). And I don't have a gambling problem. First one is for the Vegas Shoot, the second one a two year delayed trip with a friend for her 30th birthday!

I was lucky enough to have speculatively booked a west coast trip for November! Just Norway and the USA for me this year but three fantastic trips during which I finally got to see the Aurora and I managed to reconnect with friends I haven’t seen for a couple of years.

one domestic trip and a domestic positioning.
nothing for the first 5 months.

here's to a better 2022!

I weep quietly in the corner! Elderly leisure pax accustomed to frequent travelling, and largely stuck at home for 2 years.

2019, our last 'proper/typical' year of travel, was 28 sectors and 49.794 miles. Happy days!
2020 Covid arrived, with 5 trips cancelled and one flown [just as the World shut down!] for 8,902 miles.

2021 saw 2 trips cancelled, leaving just one trip, 4 sectors, JER-LHR-ANU. And that was changes/rescheduled 3 times before it was finally achieved! A measly 8,502 miles.

2022 at the moment has 8 Sectors and 19,808 miles in prospect, renewing Gold in the process. First trip will be to PUJ on 11 Jan 22, and we can't wait to get somewhere warm again!

Not the worst year for me I suppose, plenty of domestics mind!

Best discovery was Jersey, instantly fell in love with the island and can't wait to return, Caribbean trips all for work purposes though

An easy one for me, zero flights in 2021, my first calendar year without flying for many years.

I last flew in early January 2020 (business trip to Asia before COVID in the news) so it’s nearly two years of no flying for me now. In that time I’ve not even left France except to go to Italy for lunch one day in the summer. I’ve just cancelled our trip back to the UK for Christmas.

The family car on the other hand has never known so many kilometres being added in a year! We’re fortunate in France to be able to drive to the beach, the mountains, have reliable hot summer weather and have already had a ski weekend this winter season (had to dig out the car from under a foot of snow and drive 20km with snow chains to get back home).

Well, I guess it goes into the books as an improvement over 2020 which saw zero flights for me. Since Thailand opened up in November, I managed to get a BKK-DOH-DXB round trip in, so four flights for me

3x 77W (1 QSuite, 2 last minute substitutions to the old 2-2-2 product)
1x A351 (QSuite)

Glad you found us! A small target, easily missed!

Serious envy over your Caribbean trips, even if they were for work.
