never done IB express, is there really any reason to switch to the BA service if i'm in CE? i mean they are only 5 mins apart but presume it doesnt matter if i retained a row 1 seat so seat pitch (which is my biggest concern) isnt effected.
We will have to see exactly which aircraft are used, but the I2 legroom in row 1 can be constrained by the bulkhead compared to say row 2 on the G-GAT fleet. assuming some of them go back. There again Malta isn't that long a flight so personally I wouldn't bother calling up, but may go back a row on the seat plan.

I've just searched this thread for the word "compensation".

Results = 0.

Yep sadly the 02.50 arrival was a group decision so we could have another full day in the sun.. wouldn’t have been mine 😧😂

No, but someone did make an unfair leap between standard revenue management price flexing and the aircraft swap and question whether they should get money back for it, which is much the same thing. No doubt they wouldn’t offer to pay more if it had moved the other way.

Looking like you were correct

I don't think the Oneworld lounge information tells us anything new. For LGW the description is

"British Airways First and Club Lounge (Open)"

and for LHR Terminal 5 South the wording is

"British Airways Galleries South First and Galleries Club Lounge (Open)"

If you remove the words "Galleries South" then the description is exactly the same, and at T5 the lounges are separate with different access criteria.
Looking forward to some first hand accounts over the next few days to see what the arrangement is.

My Dear, there used to be plenty of pigs in that Lounge (among others) judging by the mess left behind - where they were native to Guinea or not I could not tell.
