BA 787-10

Hello,

Have BA taken delivery of more BA 787-10's?

We have return flights LHR SEA BA49 and BA48, currently showing as BA 787-10. How likely?

Thanks.

No, Boeing are not currently allowed to deliver any until the FAA re-certifies the solution to their production issues. There are 3 BA aircraft completed and stored.

Hello,See the aircraft type changing from 789 to 787-10 the last week in March 2022. Any idea when BA is likely to change plane type on these end March and later flights? Soon or last minute?

Thanks again.

Could be soon if they change the plan for a longer period, could be in the few days before departure if they just don't need to send a -10 and have a -9 available to go.

Is there an official rotation of the 787-10 on BA215 (LHR > BOS)? It seems to show up more often than not but flips between a -9 and -10.

Is it getting swapped for the -9 ad-hoc on the route? Wondering if my flight will get swapped to the -10 next week.

BA ran the 78X on that route for a short time last fall, but switched to the 789 for most of the winter. No reason they couldn't switch back to the 78X in the spring. When 787 deliveries resume, it won't be at the same pace as before: https://apnews.com/article/business-...1d6ce5815141d0

The 78X is probably one of the smoothest metal I have ever ride even during strong turbulence

I'm doing BA215 on Thursday and it's a 78X (new Club Suite, woo!) but my return on Monday night (BA214) is a 789 (old Club World, boo!).

Ironic terminology 'metal' when you consider the 787 is constructed from carbon fibre composites.

Our 787-10 LHR-ATL flight for 5/31 was switched to a 787-9 What are the odds they take delivery of the other birds before then and it switches back?

Just seen a November ORD-LHR flight has been switched out from a 787-10 to an A350. Not a wholesale change as the 787-10 is still flying on the odd day around mine. Weird that they would be taking it out of rotations where is seems like they could be filling F cabins and leaving it on routes like DEN and PDX. My Jan DEN-LHR trip is still currently on a 787-10 but no F for sale. Kind of hope it sticks and I get flubbed.
