Anyone care to opine over which of the MIA rotations will be switched from 777 to A380?
Understand that the earlier departures (BA207/206) are 777 with F, no CS and the later (BA209/208) 777 is without F, but with CS.
My guess would be the later rotation, disappointingly for me as the CS experience will continue to elude me a while longer 😏

I’m sure it’ll get updated in the next 24hrs or so once the system catches up

I may have missed it somewhere in the thread, but while HFP reports "morning rotation to Frankfurt" and "afternoon rotation to Madrid" can anyone confirm the flight numbers - and how long it is expected this will last for?
Taking Fri 12th Nov as an example there is BA901 (LHR 07:00 - FRA 09:25); the corresponding inbound is BA903 (FRA 10:40 - LHR 11:30). Is this correct, and is the rotation the same every day - including weekends?
I've not checked Madrid, as I am based in Germany - it'd be nice to get a lay flat back to the UK to see family

If South Africa is removed from the red list tomorrow, I cannot see how the A380 will not end up on the JNB route by Christmas. The A380 is made for routes like LHR-JNB, high premium and high density routes where everybody wants to travel at the same time - overnight both ways - rather than reliant on multiple frequencies for flexibility. Add a year of pent up demand on the route into the mix. I'd imagine this is the real reason for DFW not being loaded yet.

If anyone is also affected, I was only the MIA-LHR 208 but got downgraded when it moved to a no First 777. I moved to the earlier 206 to retain First. Just called You First to ask to move back to the 208. They have no policy in place yet but advised me to call back in a week or so. Question has been asked by managers but hopefully they allow a reinstatement

CPT is a 3 class route now so the 777-200 “77L” works better. It’ll probably go A350 for 22/23. The 777-300s are too premium heavy for that route.

With the announcement of additional flights to the US and the return of the A380 I have a feeling we will be seeing quite some flight changes (equipment and timing) the upcoming weeks. Chicago was switched from A350 to 787-9 and -10 last month, but curious whether the 787-10 will be available at that stage given the halted delivery.

I have a flight from LAX and to MIA a few days apart next July with the right flight numbers for the 380 service. Looks like I may finally get to fly in an A380 and just like London “Air”busses, two come along at once!
