I seem to recall real eggs in my Eggs Benedict a couple of months ago, or was I imagining them?

Any eggs poached should also use real eggs.

These "poached eggs" are plastic-wrapped rather than anywhere near an egg-shell - do they still count as real eggs? https://www.brake.co.uk/dairy/eggs/v...-eggs/p/127621

I gather the contents did once come out of the back of a chicken though, which maybe can't be said for the industrial-quality scrambled egg...

I looked briefly at the so-called scrambled eggs on arrival yesterday morning. More like cream of egg soup!

Okay, so I know that by the very definition of an arrivals lounge it is for passengers arriving but can you use it if you are on a departing flight in Club World before going airside? The reason for my question is that I am flying from T5 in a months time but for various reasons will find myself at the airport 6-7 hours before departure and I would rather stay landside until 2-3 hours before the flight. TIA.

I am about 90% sure the answer to that question has been yes, if arriving in to LGW on BA long haul you can use the LHR T5 arrivals lounge after the transfer if you are connecting on to a flight departing from T5 later that day.

No. As noted you can go airside tho and use lounges there.

Interesting. Thanks for posting -- I would never have thought to try that.

TLV to LHR in business arriving T5...departing T3 to BUD few hours later

Am I entitled to use landside BA arrival lounge T5?
Am I entitled to use landside AA arrival lounge T3?

Silver status but I believe that is irrelevant.

Well, get 'so-called' scrambled eggs in the US and it's like a patty of solid egg, so...

In Austin and LA, I had scrambled eggs or an omelette most days over the last 2 weeks and the eggs always come like a patty and the bacon crispy. They are so afraid of food poisoning over there, they truly over-cook their eggs so they are delivered as a solid mass.

I was in LHR Arrivals yesterday and it's had a refresh. Also, the breakfast was completely fine. Nothing to complain about at all. But we'll find something to complain about. We're Brits. That's what we do best! Moan.

Yeah, it's often so solid, you can slice it as it were some kind of cake. It wasn't always this way and can recall a time when scrambled eggs were always served slightly wet. I can only assume it's our FDA's constant warnings of not eating undercooked beef & eggs. Well done steak and dried scrambled egg cakes, anyone?

T5 arrivals lounge showers

Hi all - havent posted much here but wanted to share this with you m. I appreciate this may be well known but sharing my experience and BAs reply for reference. From the reply I guess we shouldnt expect anything to change soon.

i sent pictures of the arrivals lounge showers to BA saying its probably about time for a refurb or at least some maintenance - photos and response attached. I referenced the AA showers in T3 as a good standard to reach!

more for your info than anything else!

As you suspect the answer is no as your flight into LON is not long haul.
