If BA's call centre wasnt already overwhelmed, I suspect it is now being destroyed by voucher usage bookings

They were asking for a source saying AstraZenica isn't valid (not true as far as I know) not for the general announcement

Be good to find out more, the World Tourism council has been pushing the CDC to recognise the Astra Vaccine in order to allow travel, this was dated under 1 month ago.

Any idea why there was a queue? Is that reduced capacity or more people flying business you think?

I just booked LHR to EWR for second week of December. I could be wrong but it seemed like BA was literally adding more flights as I was booking.

Is it likely they will continue to add flights now? Presumably they were running a hugely reduced service until this announcement with some planes still grounded?

I ask because I'd actually prefer the weekend before so might try and keep an eye out for new times being added

(Sorry for the double post...)

Excellent.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones by having my EC status extended this morning. I highly doubt there will be any more!

Finally some good news. It seemed unfair for us to be able to travel there and the US not reciprocating

Not BoJo's announcement (per the comment in the BBC story about the announcement surprising officials).

JoBi () has slipped this one out before BoJo can claim all the credit for something the US had already decided to do.

Cheeky weekend trip to friends in NJ booked for mid-december.

Quite exciting to book a flight that isn't to Belfast.
