November 2021 flight cancellations and operational changes

Just had a schedule change on my BA104 DXB - LHR on 20Nov flight moving 4 hours earlier. On the plus side I also got a seat change and it’s now Club Suites.

Overnight. BA LHR>ORD 12:10pm booked as AA 7004 code share - Cancelled.
Sorry because it was a code share, I don't have the original flight number.
Still comes up in search as a code share in ExpertFlyer - that won't last I'm sure

I was rebooked onto an earlier flight with old CW J and a 50 minute connection in LHR. Will wait to see the fall out next week

I just had BA9 14-Nov LHR-BKk change from B789 to B788 and a re-time from LHR1510 to LHR2150.

No change to BA10 BKK-LHR, so maybe a night stop, or BA haven’t processed the inbound yet.

A welcome change for BA255 LHR/BGI on 9th November. Now leaves at 1035 instead of 1330 but main benefit is on return, BA254 which now departs BGI at 1705 instead of 2105 so less hanging around after being chucked out of the hotel room!

So now the LHR flight arrives/departs at the same time as the LGW one. Oh and there’s only 1 number difference between the 2 flight numbers…not going to cause any confusion

I have just double checked it does still say LHR (!), fortunately in F so can use the Jet Centre to avoid the inevitable chaos at check-in!

I think they didn't process it yet as the inbound flights all still show as B789 - should be a late night departure from BKK with an early arrival back into LHR early the next day

The interesting thing about this schedule is it allows time to go via Phuket which realistically is going to be the only way to make this flight viable within the current entry rules to Thailand

BA10 29-Nov now changed B789 to B788 and BKK2330-LHR0520.

I’m not too hopeful for via Phuket, but I’d be very pleased if it does, as that’s where our sandbox hotel is. And as sammyg above says, there’s enough padding in the revised schedule to enable it. Currently no chance of getting to Phuket otherwise as can’t transit BKK at all.

Same for me on BA255 LHR-BGI on 26 Nov - changed to 1035 departure instead of 1330, and BA254 return on 05 Dec changed to 1705 instead of 2105, so it looks like it could be the whole month or a long-term change

I am on BA to BKK on 15 November. Was wondering if due to timings flight might continue on to Phuket due to sandbox not requiring any quarantine!? Just a thought

Flightnumber remained the same, it is the BA0295, they pushed it earlier into the schedule with an 11:05am departure now. Also noticed the change in my booking and unfortunately no A350 Club Suites indeed!

BA 280 LAX - LHR on 21st is now leaving LAX 25 minutes earlier at 18:00.

Still appears to be a 777 with Club Suites but increasingly doubting I'll be onboard anyway.
