LGW Lounge
Does anyone have an opening date of the lounge in Gatwick?
I am due to fly to Cancun May 22nd,I tweeted BA but they just sent me a link showing the lounge is currently closed

BA’s lounges are in the South Terminal, which is closed with no current date for reopening.

So BA is operating from the North Terminal where there are currently no open contract lounges. That will hopefully change as demand picks up over the summer, but again there’s no date yet AFAIK.

There are previous posts that a £30 voucher is given at check in so that’s a lot of Boots Meal deals or a semi decent haul at Pret.

Take an extra bag for all the food! I was still eating Pret crisps 4 days after landing in Cancun. £30 goes a long way.

Interesting, BA were using the N terminal aspire lounge when they restarted operations back in July 2020

I’d be very surprised if BA reopen their lounge before Winter 2021 (and to be honest my money at the moment would be on the start of the Summer 2022 season)

i agree, I can’t see the south terminal reopening until summer 22 at the earliest

FYI I just found that the club aspire lounge can be booked on the executivelounges.com website from 21st May.

Annoyingly we fly in 20th! Anyway beggars can’t be choosers, just will be happy to get on a plane after so long!

p.s. No.1 and Club Aspire also in the North Terminal can be booked from 1st July.
