Dear BA, please do not "Hey" people
This salutation has started to frequently appear in emails. This is language only the most casual of some American companies may use, it is not language BA staff should ever use in person to refer to a passenger and neither should it be seen in emails. In many parts of the world "hey" is something said to get the attention of an animal like a street dog.

Frequently appear in emails? Can’t say I have ever noticed. Of course you may have received a lot more emails that me. Perhaps that is because I only complain when I have genuine reason to do so? 🤷🏻♂️

Nothing to do with complaints to BA, I have noticed all the emails I receive from Nectar/BA all start with Hey jayjaygee. BA direct mails are Hello jayjaygee.
I prefer hello. I do not think that I am someone who should be heyed at, unless their plan is for me to dress much younger than my age and drink jelly shots on future flights.

I must not be on the "friendly" list as all my emails from BA start with "Dear Mr. BBB..."... I feel sad and unwanted now... Is there a complaints process for this? How many Avios could I claim?

FLAT STANLEY by Jeff Brown
Breakfast was ready.
I will go wake the boys, Mrs. Lambchop said to her husband, George Lambchop. Just then their younger son, Arthur, called from the bedroom he shared with his brother, Stanley.
Hey! Come and look! Hey!
Mr. and Mrs. Lambchop were both very much in favor of politeness and careful speech. Hay is for horses, Arthur, not people, Mr. Lambchop said as they entered the bedroom. Try to remember that.
