5 March : Widespread problems logging into BA.com
Evening all,
I was in my account no problems earlier .... but trying to log into my account tonight I’m getting an error saying “we are not able to recognise the membership number you have entered”. I’ve tried it multiple times and it’s 100 per cent correct. Is there an issue or just me ?!
Thanks in advance

They appear to have emailed loads of people telling them to change their password, and maybe their IT couldn't then cope with the volume of people doing just that. Or maybe they've just disabled everything as they don't know what's been hacked.

See also the thread about the data breach and the required re-setting of one's password... which apparently doesn't get you back into your account once you've done so....
