During the 50% off Avios and Ł999 747 promo fares, we were very much still mid pandemic with no certainty. Anything and everything booked was a risk! You've got a refund, jump on the next deal that comes along and hope for a better outcome. Some you win some you lose.

I have just been told by You First that a ticket I have which was valid up until the end of October is now valid until August 2022. It seems the rules have just been changed. Can anybody confirm this please?
TIA.

there has be a CEDR ruling IIRC and there has been a thread here on the forum. this CEDR ruling will be my standpoint when my HNL ticket in autumn can't happen due to covid.

Thanks, that's very good news Anonba
So despite the comments to the contrary invoking IATA rules etc, it seems the sky does not fall in if you go beyond a year and BA can choose to ticket as they wish after all. Who knew?
