Appalling 6-7 Hour Immigration Queues at LHR 28/2/21
Have just read this, am truly appalled that a first world country like the UK.

Sounds like the usual Border Force / HAL / Home Office all blaming each other, no change there. Hope this is considered BA related, the article doesn't specifically mention T5 though so maybe occurred at both terminals.

Why is the Home Office so completely incompetent at even the simplest task? I would blame Prtti Patel, but it has been completely incompetent for at least the last 20 years so it goes beyond the current incumbent.

This is already being discussed in the UK arrivals requirements thread in the Coronavirus and Travel forum, and indeed the queues appeared to have occurred at T2 judging by the originating airports.
