Thanks ISTFlyer. I found the below:

Are four stops not permitted? Also sadly the fare only starts from 20th Feb so no good for what I need.

You can have 2 transfer in Europe and 2 transfer in NA. That is what most of there fare are limited to plus there is a max millage limit.

You need to code it a bit differently in ITA Matrix to get 4 stops.

Try this one ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search Consolidated Information and Help Thread

In any case, as ISTFlyer sayd, to add more layovers points you have to play with the multicity functionality, adding flights between the airports you need/want.
Basically you use the "standard" search to individuate the period of lower prices in the calendar, and then play with the multicity using the low price dates you found.

I've seen some posts where BA have refused/been reluctant to rebook on AA prime if it was originally booked as BA codeshare, and the rebooking policy says "If originally a BA*JB codeshare, also rebook using the BA*JB flight code if still available on the same route" which implies if there's BA codeshares on that day you might be stuck to them. I guess just looking for some recent experience, I'd hope they are quite flexible on it.

You can also use the advanced routing codes in the calendar search, e.g., "F F F F" means exactly four flights. However ITA begins to struggle if you do this in the calendar search.

Yes, BA will offer you BA codeshare where available, then AA prime if BA codeshare is not availbe. What's wrong with this policy? You'll earn more avios on BA codeshare (150-250% vs 125% in business).

In my recent experience, agent couldn't get me on BA codeshare for the flight I wanted, so they've booked me on AA prime and it was all fine. For another cancelled trip which was BA/BA/AA/AA/AA/AA/BA/BA, a helpful agent rebooked all my flights into J on BA codeshares on most of the segments, significantly increasing my avios earnings (J on BA codes earns 250% avios).

Hi
I'm looking to do a TP run between July 9 and Aug 31 2022 to retain silver status. I've had a play on ITA matrix with some of the ex AGP itineraries on this thread (thank you all for posting) and this is the best I can come up with. Happy to spend a few days in any US city (LAS, SFO, SEA etc), but struggling with really short connection times as they make me very nervous. This is the best I can find so far. Can anyone help me find anything better please ?

I don't seem to be allowed to post a photo, but I calculate this to be 720 TP for £1217

Wed July 13
AGP - MAD 09.15 10.35 B IB
MAD - LHR 12.10 13.35 B BA
LHR - JFK 16.15 17.15 B IB

Thurs July 14
JFK - ORD 07.33 09.15 F AA
ORD - SEA 11.45 14.27 F AA

Sun July 17 - Mon July 18
SEA - PHX 09.39 12.35 F AA
PHX - LAX 05.25 16.47 F AA
LAX - LHR 21.25 15.55 B AA
LHR - AGP 18.55 22.50 B AA

Post #1328 is the best option, can be booked to BA stock. You can change JFK-LAX and LAX-SFO to same day to avoid overnight in New York. Just remember to book HEL-LHR-JFK and back with BA flight numbers(LHR-JFK is BA metal with Club Suite) if you need four segments to qualify. 1080TP for 1545 euros. Then you need only 45 TP for Gold if you are eligible for discounted TPs.

Thanks Jaenks
I can't get those dates to price up with ITA Matrix or Google flights - I'll try again later with other dates.

Also just to let you know, the key of ex-AGP is to get the AGP-HEL segment on Finnair which is one of the rare 140TP routes within Europe.

Anyone got a super cheap / easy ~130TP option?

Managed to rework my US trip, so that's roughly what I've got left for Gold.
