Thanks but I'm still unclear on this. I've followed all the travel blogs and used wandr.me website. The Avios calculations are clearly wrong. The award chart says it should be 4,000 Avios points which is not even an options if I choose "more pricing options". The options I see are below. So are all of the travel blogs (The Points Guy, etc) wrong? How many Avios do you want to use for your flight?
9250 Avios + $ 43.70
8500 Avios + $ 53.70
7250 Avios + $ 58.70
4750 Avios + $ 73.70
3700 Avios + $ 93.70
2950 Avios + $ 113.70

Have you earned at least one avios in the last year.

4000 would have been correct, but there was an increase earlier this year so it is now 4750.

For example if we leave New York on a Friday evening, which is an Off Peak day, and then fly from Heathrow to Glasgow on the Saturday, which is Peak day, will the NYC-GLA part of the booking be considered Peak or Off -Peak?
Welcome to FT.
JFK-LHR would be charged as off-peak, and LHR-GLA would be charged as peak.
Now, LHR-GLA wouldn't actually be charged anything at all, as a domestic connection to a longhaul flight, but notionally the principle applies.

That's right, you don't get RFS pricing if you haven't earned something on your account in the last 12 months. I am one of those. But am I right in thinking that pricing for partners (such as S7) doesn't change, whether or not you have earned some Avios in the last year?

Hey everyone.

Hoping someone may be able to help me out with what is likely just an easy question that I wasn't able to find the answer to.

For Avios bookings made on BA's website for PARTNER airlines (ie. Qatar), what is the policy for cancellation / changes?
Is this the correct breakdown of costs? - https://www.britishairways.com/en-ca...d-service-fees

If so I just wanted to clarify do the taxes / fees get refunded as well as the Avios?
And is there a minimum time window to make changes / cancel prior to departure?

Same rules as per BA reward flights. As long as you request cancellation more than 24 hours before the flight you will be refunded everything minus the cancellation fee of 35 per person which is deducted from the taxes/fees/charges you paid.

Anything you pay in excess of the cancellation/redeposit fee will be refunded. If the taxes, fees, and surcharges are less than the redeposit fee you only forfeit the amount you paid; no attempt is made by BAEC to recover the entire redeposit fee.

And if the flight is cancelled by the airline - does that fall under BA policy or Qatar?
Thanks for the quick / helpful replies.

You are entitled to a full refund with no fees deducted. You are also entitled to be rebooked, but that would be subject to what QR allow.

And I suppose this also applies to Multi Carrier Awards?

I am trying to cancel an avios booking with less than 24 hours purchase time elapsed.

To my surprise the MMB took to a page of Evoucher refund for the YYQ and taxes charged instead of the regular cash refund!

Is that a new policy of BA not refunding passenger the money collected or there is something wrong with my account?

Since March 2020 you have been unable to do voluntary cancellations online, and that includes those within the cooling off period. You have to call.

I think there was a period which started in 2019 and running up to covid when you could cancel online within the cooling off period and you got a full refund. Prior to that it was call only.

Can anyone refer me to the part of the guide which details how to share avios as a gold member, to another gold member please? Do they have to be both in a household account? Looking to transfer the maximum 27,000 points per annum. Thank you.
