Due to exposure on the BBC it looks like the company was swamped with a deluge of orders far greater than they expected, so some deliveries are taking a while to ship.
Many people have received their deliveries, so it looks like if you have a confirmation email for your purchase it should eventually be fulfilled.

On 1st Dec 2020 Whatabuy sent an email to all customers to say
Please be assured that if you received a 'confirmation of order' screen at the end of your transaction, we have a record of your purchase and are working on processing this, even if you did not receive a confirmation email.

On 9th Dec 2020 Whatabuy sent an email to customers to say
Please be assured that we are doing our upmost to fulfil all orders as quickly as possible, with all orders placed between the 23rd and 27th of November due to be shipped by Monday 14th December and all orders placed between the 28th November and 7th December due to be shipped by Monday 21st December.

I definitely think that is the case. Kuehne + Nagel is a huge outfit.

what do you mean?

i guess i should have said these were the orders from LAST week. i ordered what i could on monday and just checked again on tuesday and wednesday to get a few other things i wanted as they became available.

i tried emailing them to inquire as to the status of my orders but got zero response so it has just been a wait and see approach. now fingers crossed my large plates arent damaged and my remaining order shows some movement because i do not understand how they cannot have enough people-power to ship items out. it seems like it was a massive haul of crockery to move so how can it take this long? if they were willing to take on such a large sale, they should have had the necessary infrastructure to process.

I gave up on my Monday noon 21xxx order. It will arrive when it arrives. Maybe next year ... I don't understand why later orders for the same items were already fullfiled for some people.

Did large plates come back on briefly? I kept checking last week but didn't see them. Someone was selling them at £25 each on eBay, but I wasn't going to bite at that!

Yes, after they pulled them at £5 for 6 they came back repriced at £50 for 6.

How did I miss that?? I was looking all week. Ah well, maybe some will turn up at a half decent price. I got bowls, medium plates and side plates and would have been very happy to pay the £50.

I made two recent orders against this offer. I got a notification from DPD that my order will be delivered today.

I eventually got a notification that my order was delivered. I checked the DPD tracker and it has been delivered to a Mr N Wong in Stevenage, I am in Leicester.

The tracking info showed a Stevenage address, a different name but with my email and phone number...
