Request to take survey but I didn't contact the service centre?

I had a random re ticketing a few days ago and this morning I received a request to complete a survey after " having contacted the service centre". When I clicked on the survey it asked "can you confirm that you contacted the service centre on the 18th of November" I clicked to no because I hadn't. Had anyone else received strange re ticketing emails and requests to complete surveys for service centre activity that they haven't been a party to. I am starting to get worried that somebody is hacking my account?

I would not be concerned about receiving a survey. What do you mean by a "random re ticketing" though?

Sorry should have been more specific. I received an e ticket receipt for a flight next year that I had already had an e ticket receipt for. It seemed in order but was unexpected as the flight was successfully booked and e ticketed some time ago.

It's probably nothing but it is odd. I would check whether the ticket number is the same as before. If so, it might just be another email about the same ticket for some reason (IT glitch). If the ticket number if different I think you should investigate if anything has changed. If the ticket number is different why not call BA and ask them why they reissued it?

Hmmm.... is this an example of:

a) BA’s IT being carp; or
b) A BA personal data breach that you need to worry about...
