Avios Pricing Difference for UK vs US Account

Was looking at an upcoming flight SFO-LHR, and which BA showed as 16250 Avios + $ 64.00 for economy under my account with a US address. Logged in utilizing my GF's account, with a UK address, and the exact same flight showed 30000 Avios + £48. We changed her address to the US and then it dropped to the same 16250 that my account showed.

Why is there a pricing difference based on the account address? Has anyone seen this before?

For SFO-LHR did you click through to the "Your price quote" page? 30000 is just the highest avios & lowest cash price point. You should be offered the following:

30000 Avios + £ 56.80
22500 Avios + £ 106.80
16250 Avios + £ 156.80
13000 Avios + £ 191.80
9000 Avios + £ 211.80
5700 Avios + £ 236.80

I had thought that but then the OP says that they are being offered "16250 Avios + $ 64.00". That seems too cheap on the cash component.

yes, i wonder what the figure is if they click through to the quote page? sometimes the estimated TFC figure at the bottom of the flight selection page is out.

The 30000 Avios + £48 does appears to be the new Reward Flight Saver rate the Executive Club is introducing for North America and Middle East flights. Presently long haul RFS are restricted to UK members

So, is it worth changing my address to the US ?

Could be a US promo that has leaked early...

This looks more like UK vs. rest of the world pricing. My account is registered in Belgium and I am seeing this route as 16,250 Avios + €63.08 in fees and taxes.

I can confirm that I was able to book the award at 16,250 + $64, using a US address. It was not a reduced avios/higher cash option. Great deal!

I just found it extremely odd that a UK based address was not being offered the same, with BA charging nearly 2x the Avios for the same flight.

Another example of how the new RFS pricing on long haul economy flights is a bad thing!
