The one thing to bear in mind of RJ is that they are notorious for equipment changes. Heathrow is slightly better than normal, but on midhaul they throw anything and everything. When we had line engineers in MXP we bidded for their line maintenance gig; the documentation said they could be flying with Embraer 170s, A319/20/21s, A340, 787. And they did!

None of the fleet has convertible seats as such any more - the ceo fleet has tables in the middle seats, whilst the neo fleet just has blocked middle seats (no tables). Rows that can be Club Europe have both USB and power sockets, whereas Euro Traveller rows have just USB. On the neo fleet, the Euro Traveller rows are slimline (ironing board) seats.

My mistake, for some reason I was bringing in elements of Egyptairs service. Of course you're right and they're not dry.

That's weird, the seat map showed the 1-2-1-2 down each side of the aircraft yesterday. Now showing 2X2 CE product. Or, I'm going crazy.

Thumbs down Seriously this many Avios

Now that this route has moved to short haul operations with Club Europe seating, catering,1 lav and a numb bum by the end of the 5 miserable hours on board. Is it not also time it moved to RFS for reward seats also?

I have just been quoted the following Avois prices for 2 passengers when the best J fare available is £1965.24 for two, or £982.62 each. These are approx double the Y fare with a bag.

150000 Avios + £ 507.24

135000 Avios + £ 847.24

123000 Avios + £ 1,087.24

108000 Avios + £ 1,387.24

93000 Avios + £ 1,627.24

78000 Avios + £ 1,867.24

I would have considered it for long haul, indeed I have twice previously, but it will be a cold day in hell before I squander that level of Avios or cash on a short haul aircraft.
