I think with BAH there is also a policy that if your destination changes status (e.g. Dubai goes red) you can cancel for a full refund.

guy sat next to us used the service and we went through at exactly the same time, the only benefit I could see was not having to use the walking escalator thingies as you get a buggy 😄

did Chronomics last night, played up on the phone but think it was a hardware issue as worked easily on the iPad. All done within a few minutes and certs loaded up successfully to VeriFLY.
leave Sunday so can’t say whether there will be any issues, but using it was spot on.

no 2nd test, airport was quiet so I expected the worst but didn’t see anyone being pulled.

in addition to the file sat on my phone, and VeriFLY, I’ll ask the hotel to print off a hard copy - I’m guessing like me you had just a cursory search for the word negative on the way in? So I’m not expecting any problems but who knows in these fun times….

The test on arrival is very straight forward. Your shown downstairs to the testing area, swipe of your passport in the machine, mobile number taken, and pcr nasal swab taken. It adds no more than 5 mins to your arrival prcedure. You emerge back into immigration counter and the baggage will be arriving on belt by the time you are there. Test result was text in about 6 hours.

will do, I’ve seen suggestions that using a Dubai based tester is safer but you would think following a link directly from the BA website would be fine….!

Oneworld website now says Marhaba Lounge in Terminal 1 (that's been updated from saying T3 a few days ago). Oddly the Marhaba lounge in T1 shows as closed on the website currently - https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location=DXB

Probably wouldn't bother. I don't think it'll be busy enough to warrant it.
