Random tests of UK flights confirmed by Dubai Media Office - so technically the old rules are still in place:

Will be interesting to see how 'random' the testing is going forward.

Or just get a PCR done in Dubai as at 150dhs it's probably no more expensive than a lateral flow test.
You can do a lot better than £30 if you pick up a LFT to do in DXB before you leave the UK.

Sure you can. But as OP had said they're already in Dubai and fly in a couple of days, their options are more limited.

BA107 Delays

Hi everyone, BA 107 departure time today 30 December has been pushed to 18:00(5+ hours delay), does anyone know the reason for this? I fear it might end up being cancelled.

Are you on that flight? It looks like it returned to the ramp due to a maintenance issue.

Obviously it could be cancelled, but at this point at a minimum you’ll be flying out much later in the morning. But even if it does get cancelled, the other two morning flights are wide open in all classes.

Good to know the other 2 flights have spaces, thanks for the info. I’m tracking BA107 on LHR App, the status just changed to go to gate C65, so I’m guessing it’s a go for now.

BA107’s on time performance has been abysmal since it switched to an A380. Are all the BA A380 flights currently like this?

I believe BA crew have affectionately named it the A3-lately (or something like that)

lhr-dxb was terrible before the a380... many BA lhr-dxb were 30-60mins late leaving... this flight is obviously an outlier...
