Have you thought about the Intercontinental, on the other side just up the road, after the station and Zloty Tarasy mall? If you're going for a club room, the lounge kicks the offering of most other Warsaw hotels into the Vistula. It's got 40-something floors, and there's a pool/spa complex on the top one, looking down over the culture palace. They've maybe over-sold membership of the gym/spa so it can get crowded at peak times.

Appreciate the advice, however I wouldn't mind the Hilton points. I have no status and very rarely (if ever) stay at IHG properties.

Bad news folks: there’s growing speculation that Poland will be put on the naughty step this evening.

Along with - possibly - the rest of Greece and potentially Gibraltar.

I'm still going to Poland, so happy to keep the mini-DO going

For those who cannot self isolate on return from Poland, I'll have a second date soon

I work from home, but also have 2 dogs which need walking so cannot handle a 14 day lock down
Enjoy! I love Poland.

If anyone is serious about moving it to Germany, Hamburg or Berlin? or is this now dead?

Another mini-DO: 24 APR 2021

Let's have 2 mini-DOs instead of one

It's quite unfortunate that Poland got removed from the air-corridor list and those travelling to Poland will have to self isolate for 14 days on return to the UK. I am still going to Poland, as I can work from home on return, so self isolation is not a problem for me. I know a handful of people still plan to go, so I'm happy for the mini-DO to happen on 24th October, as planned

Alternative date I've picked for the mini-DO in Warsaw: 24 April 2021

Hopefully travel restrictions will be eased by then and there'll be no requirement for self-quarantine on return to the UK.

I'll update the wiki post and ask mods to update the title.
