BA at Terminal 3 in September 2020?

My son has just made a LHR-MRS return booking. Outbound BA0366 in late August return BA0371 in early September. The outbound flight is shown as leaving from T5 but the inbound is shown as arriving at T3. Are BA repoening at T3 or is this a mistake in the booking - he has parking booked at T5?

Many thanks.

I just think they haven't formally changed flights across to T5 yet for September onwards. I think it is very unlikely T3 will be open by September.

My Pisa - LHR on Saturday 05 Sep is indicating a T3 arrival. I fully expect it to be T5, the same as the outbound on 29 Aug.

My LHR-BUD early Sept is showing as departing T3 but the return is showing T5.

Oh for the days of T3 BUD and a leisurely couple of hours in the QF and CX lounges .......

T3 certainly won't be back in September, they have removed too much equipment that even if they decided today they would resume services there, it would take months for the place to reopen. My half educated guess is no T3 until way into 2021, HAL are more likely to transfer gates from T3 to T2 if necessary.

Just me, but I hope some of the LGW flights resume / return home before T3 gets opened.

Very odd that I was sent an email alert today that my November SOF flight had moved from T5 to T3?

I think it is the re-timing which prompted that new flight details email.

I am hoping it is just a typical BA IT glitch as it was leaving from T5 when I booked - and I was planning breakfast on the CCT as this is a B2B TP Run.

Ah ok. I think it is a fairly safe bet T3 won't be open by then anyway so it should be from T5 in November.

The Sofia terminal switch must be part of the standard Winter schedule reshuffle. At the moment you have to assume your flight is now departing from T3. It will only be in early October that I imagine BA will switch it to T5 if Heathrow keep T3 closed.

BA obviously expect to return to T3 though with some destinations, otherwise why would they switch destinations between terminals for the coming season.

Just had a thought. Didn’t they switch all LH flights this winter to T5? So does that imply they actually will return to T3 but short haul only maybe.
