Barefoot flying

With BAís new focus on leisure flying, itís come to my attention that a high number of passengers seem to be flying in flip flops, or other sockless footwear - and like to remove them in-flight.

Am I being a snob, or does anyone else find this a bit objectionable?

Flip flops are unsafe footwear and should be banned at airports and on aircraft.

Not something I'm keen on either, especially when the offender decides to use the arm rest of the seat in front as a foot rest, grrrrr.

I donít mind what folk wear on their feet as long as they keep their footwear on. Itís those who rest their naked feet on the bulkhead that I find gross,

No and yes, respectively.

I really don't want to see people's feet when I'm travelling.

Itís not so bad when someone has nice, clean, well looked after feet - but the majority of them are not.

Don't you just love FT when someone can so knowledgeably recall data from "Relative accident statistics relating to wearing flip-flops, Dr Scholl, Birkenstocks and other open-toed footwear on BA aircraft 2019/20"
