Thanks CWS, I appreciate the response - you’re right, know one can be sure, it’s just strange that approx a couple of days before I’m due to travel they are only operating 1 flight to IST from LHR and 2 MAN - LHR; this then goes up to 2 flights from LHR to IST and 4-6 flights LHR-MAN depending on the day you travel. I don’t really want to lose the deposit if they end up cancelling even 1 of the 4 sectors.... I’ll see what happens and make a decision later this week 😊👍🏽

Just had a time change for BA912 LHR-FRA for 1 Oct.
The October SH changes may finally be underway ...
(EDIT: the app still shows 6 LHR-FRA flights that day, with two 10 minutes apart. I suspect that won’t stick for long!)

so with the news about IAG reducing flights by 60% rest of year does that equate to running 40% of its pre covid schedule? stats are NOT my forte and just wondered...

Same for NCL-LHR and also when BA may cancel Oct LGW-MCO flights that remain as there seems no chance of lifting US entry ban. Not that a FL visit would be appealing at the moment anyway.
PS - simonsmith - you must have a different calendar to me - Sept 31st????

Just to help those rebooking October short haul trips, LH group airlines are now available as a rebooking option. Redemptions are included.

Is that why some European flights I'm tracking have mysteriously shot up from around Ł70 to Ł360. Guessing BA is trying to discourage bookings on those flights, so they don't have to deal with the hassle of rebooking / refunds when they axe them soon.

As an aside, this is rapidly turning into a real sack o s**t for all. BA needs to put up a realistic schedule that will actually work as everyone needs certainty in order to plan. With so many cancellations then you're just not going to bother as a greater than evens chance your flight won't run and even if it is scheduled, Covid might then wreck it. The company I am working for has said no return to the office before July next year so it's not looking great for T&E anytime soon.
