why should they scrap their own 747s and use Lufthansas old planes? that doesnt make sense to me.

H1 results said 4-6 380s on storage until EOY but it could be for longer. The way things look right now, they don’t need them on routes to anywhere really.

Cancellation just received - that was quick!

A side question, and apologies if this is not relevant to this thread, but maybe someone here can confirm: If I rebook myself onto an earlier flight on the day, I assume I can still take a voucher at a later stage if I decide not to travel (I booked under the Book with Confidence rules)?

Thanks very much.

My LAS flights have been changed to a 3-class 777-200 so, to save me from reading roughly 200 pages of FT, can anyone quickly give me an idea of the best CW seats? We are currently in 11J/K which look ok but I am also wondering about 5J/K?

My JFK - LHR flight for March next year has changed to a 777 with Club Suites and we're in 5E/F which I don't plan on changing unless someone thinks this is a bad choice?

Thanks!

If you need help on similar topics, the correct thread is here: Covid-19 BA Rebooking/Cancellation/Refund HELP & ADVICE *No Speculation etc*

It's getting rather long, but it does have all the info you're looking for. C-W-S in particular is mentioning to be careful because you never know when the rules might change, and BWC might get pulled. But since it was there when you booked, I think it should still work.

Have you checked the dedicated thread?

Thanks! This is so helpful. There's 50 pages of discussion on the 777 thread and 150+ pages on the Club World seat thread. I rarely fly 777 as the routes I frequent have been 747 dominated. I was hoping someone who flies the three-class 777-200 would be able to quickly say "You want X or Y" or that I should avoid A or B. But that's fine. I'll do my own legwork

I believe I have an idea.

Right now they’re sorting out the winter schedule, which always happens at this time of year. They’re allocating aircraft and adjusting frequencies.

They haven’t touched October yet as they’re still dealing with the plans September. These are real time adjustments in relation to restrictions and Coronavirus situation. If we look at previous patterns, I would expect October will be dealt with at the end of this month.
