I just had an email to tell me that we are in seats 5E/5K on a 77M, i now need to decide if I want a window seat or not

EDIT: I forgot that none of you are aware that this is for LHR-JFK in November, now you are!

EDIT - Probably due to 7A or K not having to step over anyone to get out now I have studied the diagram more. I've moved to 7J and K as they don't have the toilet behind them like A and B
I suspect you're right, I was just going with the wiki. It's mostly academic for me, as I doubt I'll do the trip. I booked it on miles specifically for the 747.

Just had my Nov 24 BA115 LHR/JFK changed to Club Suites -- have picked 7K.

More interestingly, my Dec 22 BA115 appears to be Club Suites in the 773. Again have picked 7K, but have no idea really what's best. Such an enormous J cabin ! The seat choice in MMB doesn't seem to offer the rearmost section, rows 19-24, which is visible on EF.

Waiting to see what happens to the BA178 return legs, which are still showing 744.

LHR-JFK return next March has changed to a 777 with Club Suite (I'm guessing based on a 2 row F though).

Email came through earlier here too. Just had my BA208 MIA to LHR in mid December changed from 747 to 777 without club suites - ugh. Flying dorm. My least favorite club set up, but hey, it is what it is.

Appears A380 flights to Miami are back for winter.

Now that is a shame.

Having just read more of the 787 wiki it would seem that 7K can be used as a crew rest seat and that sometimes they don't block it from the off leaving you moved at a later date to another random seat. In my case away from my travelling companion; that said this is the case for "longer flights" and I don't think Chicago is classed as a longer flight for this type of aircraft?

If only it was simpler and I didn't get so worried about getting it exactly right!

Looks like you are going to have to find a new aircraft type to notch with your miles, have you tried the A350 yet? No Jumbo but new.

My LHR to MIA BA209 26th Nov has been changed from 747 to 777. I am unsure of how to tell what type of 777 this is, if anyone is able to help greatly appreciated.

Also, has now moved from T3 to T5 officially (that's borders open of course, I have a feeling they well not be til at least early 2021)

My return Flight MIA - LHR on the 14th Dec BA208 (again if someone able to tell me what 777 the would be great)

Thanks

My lax/lhr trips in Dec and Jan are still showing 747 also. I wonder if these flights will just be cancelled given the 787 and A380 (maybe) flights still on the route.

I guess this is the start of the usual Winter schedule/aircraft changes.
