Interesting little addition:
Simply spend £1,000 or more per person on a holiday for travel between 1 August - 30 September and everyone on your booking can experience the comfort and style of a British Airways lounge.
Free lounge access on selected holidays
Book a holiday as part of the Flash Sale and benefit from access to our airport lounge before you set off on your holiday.Simply spend £1,000 or more per person on a holiday for travel between 1 August - 30 September and everyone on your booking can experience the comfort and style of a British Airways lounge.

Edit: scratch that, appears from the wording that you would forfeit the value of any non-refundable hotel booking in that case; hopefully someone else has a better suggestion!

Yes, don't click signs marked "Flash Sale" more than 24 hours after booking.
More seriously, I presume the Flying With Confidence provision applies if departing before the end of August. so your booked BAH (or indeed flights only) could be turned into an FTV for another purpose, provided your hotel wasn't booked on inflexible terms in the case of BAH.
Alternatively, look on the bright side and book a second holiday to take advantage of the Sale.
More information on the Flash Sale - with a 1 week booking window - at the end of this thread, unusually it includes lounge access for some BAH bookings.
When is the next BA sale?

From the Ts & Cs: T5 lounge only, 3 hours max before scheduled departure time and subject to lounge capacity. It's a good deal though if you were already planning on spending the required amount.

I've tried to make a couple of dummy bookings for this sale and there appear to be quite a few defects with the booking pages. I couldn't complete any booking so I wonder if BA are surprised if bookings are lower than they might have expected??

Only for a limited time but if it were considered a successful experiment and extended by BA, it would be a definite selling point for me in considering future BA Holidays bookings. I'm perpetually irritated that there's no way to buy extra lounge access for the kids in tow (as they always are...), and all our LH holidays go well over the £1000pp mark, but rarely go further than WTP. Fingers crossed they do it for next Easter.
Also a pity it doesn't help with our Santorini trip in August but as that was barely £200pp, I probably can't argue...
